I am studying Peace and Conflict Studies as a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The opportunity to work with Gordon at the African Community Center is an exciting challenge. I hope to learn how a nonprofit is run, especially one that helps and empowers immigrants, refugees, and minorities. I will be working on the database for ACC – learning how to create a database and use it to serve the organization’s needs. I am the pianist at Chelmsford Bible Church and a trained singer. I have also started acting through UMASS Lowell’s Off-Broadway Players. During the summer of 2017, I interned with Peace thru Culture, a nonprofit organization in Washington D.C. that provides cultural enrichment programs for youth. During my spare time, I love to read, write stories and blog posts, critically review films for fun, travel, and spend time with friends.

“Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 106:1, ESV)
