A Juneteenth message from our Executive Director
As we all celebrate this holiday, may we take a moment to reflect on the power of Freedom and Justice. Freedom and justice. As I stood on the grounds of Elmina Castle, along the shores of my native Winneba during my visit to Ghana in September 2021, all I could think was, we have come a long way. Harvard students' visit
A visit to ACCL and Lowell by undergraduate students from Harvard and their Professors from Harvard School of Design. As part of their summer program, these students will meet with members of the African community to dialogue and discuss opportunities and challenges in our communities. On July 13 from 10am to 3pm there will be a free trip for students Middle School to High School to go to the Harvard campus in Cambridge for hands-on activities. Details will follow soon!


Soccer players networking opportunity
Professor Joselyne Nkogo from UML visits Director of ACCL, Gordon Donkoh Halm and creates a soccer opportunity for players to get together and network during the summer. Please contact us at info@acclowell.org if you are interested.


Greenhalge School Visit
ACCL director seen here sharing the story of ACCL children’s book with Greenhalge Elementary school. Mr. Gordon Donkoh-Halm read to 240 students from 2nd grade to 5th grade where students were engaged and ask questions. The students enjoyed the messages of importance of family, determination, friendship, and celebration. ACCL director has visited several schools in Lowell, Wesley as well as Lowell public library.
